Summer Programs

During summer all our students will have the opportunity to continue an hour of Montessori lessons everyday in the morning. New students to
CMA will meet their teachers, make new friends and begin their Montessori lessons while engaging in summertime fun.
Our summer program is designed to be fun, relaxing and entertaining!

June 8 - 19

Art…

During the starting of the summer days our children will spend the days engaged in arts and crafts, outdoor games, work on projects like Stained Glass, Bookworm Box, Crazy Clown Hat, Scavenger Hunt, etc.

June 22 - July 2

America/ Texas…

Come explore America and the state of Texas with us. Learn the fun facts about our wonderful state and country and celebrate Red, White, and Blue Day to end the session.

July 6 - July 17

Science/Geography…

Allow your child’s curious mind to explore science. In a Montessori classroom, the various science materials develop a love for science. We will be doing simple science experiments and the topics of study will be – How a plant grows; Solid, Liquid, and Gas; Magnets; Nature walks.

While exploring Geography the child will have a strong feeling of the environment around and learn about the globe; continents, countries, states, and weather

July 20 - July 31

Music/ Drama…

Children will have fun utilizing their natural creativity while learning songs and participating in drama presentations and puppetry. Students will act out simple stories and plays. All children will have the opportunity to create a variety of puppet for their own storytelling experiences.

August 3 - August 14

Discovering Dinosaurs…

Calling all future Paleontologists and Dinosaur Hunters! Come discover the world of dinosaurs. During August we will explore and learn about our favorite prehistoric reptiles. We will have cool dino arts and crafts all week long. There have been dinosaur fossils discovered here in our state. May be your child will uncover a dinosaur or a fossil in our very own dinosaur dig at CMA.

Sports from different countries…

Summer times are always filled with joy and laughter. Our Sports camp will introduce the children to sports from different countries such as the Chinese Dragon Game, Mexican Tag Game and more games from Italy, France, Africa, and other countries.
